History Of The Port

Built in 1963 in Gulluk centre by DLH on military purpose, the old port of Gulluk docking area dated on 18/05/1968 and with 6/10032 decree law is alienated to a village community. Confirming not being used adequately, the port is alienated to a marine bank(current name is T.D.I) cabinet decision dated on 17/08/1980 and law no: 8/1491.
T.D.I has continued its duty until June 2006 and alienated its duty to Port of Gulluk Management, Construction, Tourism, Industry and Trading Co.Inc. afterwards.
Exporting a substantial portion of Feldspar at the port of Gulluk, loading and discharging speed has increased by having a separate road to the port. Also being close to mining companies has been an advantage.
